[shadow=red,left,300] Alue [/shadow] Why can't the pain go away? It's driving me insane! All I see are flashbacks of my past...They won't leave. What a fae to do? Run...Yea. Well here I am....Away from the cursed lands of the past. But Why won't the pain go away?
__________________XxX________________________
Alue's eyes were shut in pain as she slept under an old tree. The moon's light made the end of her grey fur look as if she were shinning, her paws twiched as she growled and whined in her dream...Well, more like a flashback dream. She couldn't wake up, even though she tried she couldn't get herself to wake up. She seemed to tremble in place. What was happending to her? Even she didn't know.
She was dreaming about her...Murderd family. Souless, Soul, Xxas, Carsile, Jasper, Everette, Neige, jennesme, Saba, Solue, Balile. Their faces wouldn't leave the blacknes of her closed eyelids. Souless was her mate...and Neige, Jennesme, Saba, Solue, and Balile were her pups. Which were all a year.. They had all been murderd...She could see their faced as their murderer killed them. The paind scared look in their eyes as they were slaughterd. Well, except for Saba, she wasn't quite murderd...She was forced and died giving birth..And Alue was there...Not able to do anything about it.
Alue started to flinch again in her sleep. Trying so hard to open her eyes before she saw more of her unwelcomed past. Crytstal tears started to form in the corner of her sealed eyes and leaked down her cold cheek and landed on the still earth's surface. Her back leg jurked from under her and tried to kick out, as if she were running or attacking something. Of course it was in her dream. Oh how she wanted to wake up.
Then something escaped her maw, more whines and then a low screach. She wanted someon to come! She wanted someon to stop the pain of her past. She knew she couldn't wake up alone. She didn't want other wolves too see her cry, and feel weak and vulnerable. Though she had to wake up.

T-u.l.a.r-i She had fire in her soul It was easy to see How the devil himself could be pulled out of me There were drums in the air As she started to dance Every soul in the room keeping time with their hand.
----- [... perhaps if we were to dig tunnels under the snow to keep warmer? Stashing food in the cold is a brilliant idea, but what of keeping ourselves warm? Didn't my father say that a good way is to burry oneself in the snow? A black and brown she-wolf was loping delicately and just as effortlessly through the territory of her pack as she thought. She wasn't particularly paying attention to what she was doing or where she was going, relying on instinct to tell her if there was a hole in the ground as the summer sun beat down on her coat.
She paused for a breather, a portion of her black and brown patched coat was drenched from a charge through a small stream about a quarter mile earlier. As Tulari stood, lost in her thoughts, she felt the wind rustling it's summer warmth through her, chilling her wet skin while warming her dry portions. The wolf let her eyes drift shut for a few minutes. As she stood there, the white marking on her chest fluttered gently in the breeze, she bent her neck and licked at it before grooming the rest of her body as well - thinking all the while. Once her coat was to her rather picky satisfaction, Tulari gained her feet once more and set off at a sedate walk.
And she was maintaining her thinking vigil for winter when a rather fat squirrel darted in front of her path. In a heartbeat the black and brown she-wolf was after it, a hoarse excited noise was coming from her maw as she chased the terrified rodent with glee. She lost him when the clever creature gained a tall tree she presumed to be his home and vanished into a hole. The five year old looked around, remembering her age a bit too late to salvage any pride if someone had been watching her. As her golden eyes flickered over the tera, her ears swiveled to a new sound. Curious, the dark she-wolf headed for it, her eyes scanned the ground and even the trees. She carelessly walked through puddles after she'd spent all that time cleaning her coat.
Finally the source of the sound was heard. With a pause, she sat down on her haunches and looked at the sleeping form of Alue. She was a pretty wolf of a pepper and salt coloration. She had russet colored ears, which had always amused Tu, but oddest of all was the color of her eyes. Unlike Tulari, she had green eyes, and a bitter temperament. Tulari watched her whine and kick and twist as all wolves do in their sleep. But it struck Tulari suddenly that this dream was not a happy dream. Alue seemed to be restless and scared as she dreamed. As soon as Tulari heard the screech pass from Alue's lips her hackles raised along her back. She whined loudly, "Alue, Alue, you dream -- harken me and awaken!" she cried with a sharp sound, worried about the younger wolf. ...] -----

A wolf named Kimbo then leapt at Alue in her dream. Alue doged it and leapt on a tree since she knew Kimbo could kill her easily if she wasn't careful. He wasn't just a wolf....He was a wolf/scorpian/poisinous snake. So you had to be careful for his back, his mouth, and that's about it. He lept at the tree tons of times before he gave up on her and went to her daughter's son. Alue leapt off the tree and landed on Kimbo's back.
Right when Kimbo turned to snap at Alue he disapeard...And so did Saba and her son. Alue stood there confused as everythng around her past disapeared. Then she heard the word Alue! out of no where. She then came out of her dream and leapt up-right. Green eyes narrowd towards the fae. Her upper lip twiched revealing a row of white dagers. Alue was larger than most fae, she had the build of a male. But, her face is of a fae and that's how most know. When she took in the new fae as no threat she stopped. Shaking her dome. "Sorry...I was..Shooken up a bit." She took a deep breath still ready if the fae decided to do anything to her.
Alue then realized that the fae that stood infront of her had woken her up from her past that seemed she had been dreaming that night. She took another breath and dipped her head. "Thank you for waking me up." She shook her dome once again in a pained way then looked back at the fae. Her features emotionless. "Though I do have a question...How do you know my name?" She asked as she tilted her head to the side.
Alue wasn't sure she had met this fae in her path before, or saying her name. This was all just curious too her. Her tail was calmly swaying back and forth behind her, paws ready to leap out of the way. She wasn't scared of the fae infront of her, it was just that Alue grew up around fighting and major violence and death. Alue never had a happy family that lasted more than two to three years. Golden green eyes wonderd around happy it was all just a dream...well, not really those things really did happen...Even the kimbo wolf happened...She never liked to talk about it much, though maybe it would be good....Even though, it would be a long story. Her attention was too the fae once again, though she never loosened a gaze from the corner of her eye. "And what is your calling?" Alue asked, her lyrics were soft, but rough at the same time. Alue was the age of 4 years old. The fae infront of her didn't look that much older than her.

T-u.l.a.r-i She had fire in her soul It was easy to see How the devil himself could be pulled out of me There were drums in the air As she started to dance Every soul in the room keeping time with their hand.
----- [... Tulari watched the fae carefully, her pads braced against the ground in case she should have to flee from awakening the she-wolf from a troublesome sleep. Tu understood the fear of coming awake from a dream so real it made reality look fake. Her ears were pinned on the fae as she struggled with the dream -- and then with a snarl she awakened. Taken off guard, Tulari's lips curled up and her tail shot straight up into the air. She didn't snarl, but was more wary by the more masculine fae. It wasn't hard to see that despite Tulari's suckage at the art of fighting -- she would never had won if the fae decided to attack. Tu's hackles, tail and lips went back down as soon as Alue's did, and she shook herself a bit, allowing a rare ray of sunshine sink into her skin and warm her.
The she-wolf inclined her head as Alue thanked her, but she was still wary. She didn't know this fae very well -- had only see glimpses as she met the rest of the wolves in the Eyrie pack. They had never really met, but Tulari at least knew her name. Or, at least knew of her. Alue, the fae with a broken past. It wasn't hard to see what the years alive had done to the female, it troubled Tulari, she started to think about other strange thoughts when Alue's vocals called her out of her thoughts. She looked surprised for a moment and then let out a soft whine. "I have heard you talking to other wolves in the pack, though we have not yet met." She looked up at Alue (but not into her eyes directly as that was a foolish thing for a wolf to do.)
With another shake of her black and brown pelt, the fae sat her haunches on the ground and licked at her shoulder. She looked every inch unprepared to turn and run (or fight), if Alue had taken a sudden dislike of her. But under her guise she was watching Alue, gauging the female's mental state, whether she was dangerous to Tulari. Though smaller than the she-wolf in front of her, Tulari knew without a doubt that she was faster… not that it was a particularly brave trait to always run from a battle. But one had to use what they were born with. Tu's head snapped up as the female asked of her own name. She thought for a few minutes before lolling her tonnage lazily and cocking an ear to the side -- looking rather foolish. "Tulari is my calling, Tu if you'd prefer," she then got up and cocked her head to the side, "May I ask what it t'was that you dreamt about?" she looked away, "I often like to ponder dreams."
Her thoughts turned once again away from the potentially dangerous fae before her and towards her brother. Kilt always had strange dreams when he'd awaken. Dreams of flying in the sky, of a talking raven who cackled like a demon and was as bitter as a lemon. She looked up at the sky with longing, where was her fair-coated brother now? Far away and long gone perhaps, she sniffed softly and swayed a little on her feet. Her golden orbs gazed at the landscape around them, the summer flowers were in bloom everywhere, utterly beautiful in their appearance. kilt would have liked those as well, she thought sadly, missing her litter-mate deeply. She returned her gaze to Alue's ears, unwilling to incite challenge by meeting Alue's odd gaze. ...] -----

Alue took another breath as the fae woke her. She couldn't help but think what the fae was doing there, but then figured if she would have shrieked or screamed then that would have drawn(sp) the fae towards the sound. It was only usual. She knew that the wolf in front of her she owed big time and didn’t quite know how to show her gratitude, she would have done anything to get rid of her past. Her dream was so livid, everything that was in her dream really did happen…And that was the scariest part. She shook her dome in remembrance. She was so close to death so many times trying to defend her family and friends. She clenched her teeth as the memories flooded her thoughts.
When the fae inclined her head towards her, Alue dipped hers in response. She had never seen this wolf in these lands before, Alue was one of the first faes here, and she planned to be alphess. She studied the fae in front of her for a few moments, she knew that this fae was also running for alphess, it made her smirk. Alue knew she could take down this fae, she also knew she wasn’t that fast. But, she was fast enough, strong enough, and had enough brains to trick others into fighting her or challenging her. Though since this fae did Alue a favor by waking her up, she wouldn’t hold anything against the fae at the moment, she took another breath when the fae spoke her reason for knowing her name. Alue nodded in response. “I guess that would be typical.” She said with a roll of her shoulders in a low shrug. When she knew the fae was looking at her, but not in her eyes she wanted to chuckle, but held it back. Alue was a different wolf. She looked at wolf’s eyes all the time when she talked to them, meaning she meant business at all times.
Alue studied the fae more curiously as she noticed the fae ready to run, dodge, or attack back. Alue couldn’t help this time, but snicker. “I have no reason to attack you, so please don’t think I will. I only attack with reason.” Her lyrics were soft, but not forgettable. When the fae said her calling Alue dipped her head. “Well, it is a pleasure meeting you, Tulari.” She said pleasantly, then her last question caught her off guard. She thought for a few moment before answering then let out a sigh. “Well, that is a difficult question I must add, but I will tell you.” She said in a short tone then made herself comfortable. “It’s a long story, if you want I will summarize it, if not then I will be happy to explain.”
“I used to live in a land where there wasn’t much happiness, well for me really. After a few years I fell in love with a brute named Torro, him and I went back and forth many times and left and rejoined each other a lot, after a few years of being with each other we decided to have pups. I ended up having two. Their names were One Moon and Neige. Then I found a pup without parents all alone and took her in as one of my own and her name was Saba.” She thought it was pretty sad, saying were and was. Meaning they died. well, except for One Moon. “When Saba grew up she got into some trouble with a creature named Kimbo, he was wolf/snake/and scorpion. I didn’t know that, he tried to kill Saba, and at that time Saba had a son of her own. I came in and attacked him…I was left vulnerable because he kept getting a hold of Saba and her son…” She shook her dome. “So let’s just say I made Saba and her son leave, and for me doing so I was vulnerable….He left me there to die, with most of my ribs broken and bones also broken and shattered. I should have been dead….But, for some reason I came back and after a few years of recovery I was healed and back to normal…That was not the last time he tried to kill my family and me specifically. He is still after me…Though he has no idea where I am. And that, my friend is what I was dreaming about.” Alue knew that was only part of her past...Nothing compared to the other parts. she would rather fight Kimbo a thousand times rather than having the past she had.

T-u.l.a.r-i She had fire in her soul It was easy to see How the devil himself could be pulled out of me There were drums in the air As she started to dance Every soul in the room keeping time with their hand.
----- [... The fea in front of her seemed to be filled with anguish and terror -- well, maybe not terror. But something like that. It made a shiver run down Tulari's spine. The black and brown she-wolf looked at the fea, an expression that might have been gratitude flashed on Alue's face for a mere moment and was soon gone. Tulari actually wasn't sure that she'd seen it. She straightened as she watched the gray wolf. She was pleased to see that this large fea had manners as Alue's dome inclined towards her, she lolled her tongue peaceably. She had watched Alue from the shadows - something she was quite good at in fact, and it was fascinating to watch the fea talk with the others -- of course, how was Tulari to know that Alue also had ambitions to be the Alphess? It was something Tulari felt her birthright due to her family history in her previous pack. She heaved a silent breath as Alue didn't question why she'd watched the fea, but something told Tulari that she may already know?
She stiffened when she looked up and Alue met her gaze. Her hackles bristled a little and her muscles tensed -- a challenge? No, Tulari forced herself to calm down. This must be something that Alue's previous pack had done. Tulari met her gaze, shaking a little. Her her pack, direct eye contact was a challenge to fight. Still, despite knowing that it was likely something Alue did, it was hard for Tulari to keep eye contact -- to many years of her rule and it was hard to break. Her eyes developed a sort of glazed, looking-through-you, gaze as they stared at Alue. She snorted when Alue snickered, about to demand what was so funny when the fae -- apparently one step ahead of her answered. Tulari's maw cracked into a grin, "Since I've only just met you, how would I know what your reason to attack would be?" her tongue lolled merrily as she watched the fae. Her mouth snapped shut as she noticed that her query had made Alue pause. She sat up straighter as the female agreed to tell. Tulari perked her large black ears and listened with rapt attention. "Tell as much as you feel comfortable.
Her heart started to ache as the she-wolf started her tale. It reminded her of her pleasant childhood that had only left her scarred after a cold and wet incident. She shook her head and listened closely to the tale, allowing her eyes to drift closed, she listened as Alue spoke of her pups, and then the orphaned Saba, her head dipped down in sadness. Tulari had caught on that the pups had died -- which was always a sad thing. Pups were very important to the pack, not only where they the next generation, they were also they extra fangs and claws to help hunt. Tu felt a breeze ripple along her fur as she kept her attention upon the gray fea. Her nose wrinkled, Tulari had come from a pure wolf family, so the possibility of a wolf/snake/scorpion mixture repulse and baffled her mind. What would he have looked like? Tulari's mind attempted, but she was drawn back to the story. she growled at the thought of some mutation holding her pups (if she ever had any) hostage. A whine pulled itself from Tulari's throat in sympathy for Alue -- she had a new respect for the fae to have survived all that. It made Tulari's one time moment seem silly in comparison.
When Alue concluded her story, Tulari wasn't entirely sure what to say. She turned her head and looked at the trees before looking back at Alue, "Alue, you are without a doubt, the strongest fae I have ever encountered. As a young puppy, I was trapped in a half-thawed river, and it was the most terrifying encounter I've ever had. I feared that I would die down there… and there's a custom in my pack, that if a wolf dies in a river, their souls are trapped down there forever," Tulari looked awe again, "But my story is nothing like yours Alue. I can't even imagine what else you had to go through and still come out on top." Tulari paused to think, and then she sighed softly, not sure what to say next. ...] -----

Alue studied the fae watch her carefully making sure she wouldn't leap at her, it made Alue feel a bit like a predator. Waiting for the right moment to strike that would make her oponent more vulnerable, but that wasn't what Alue was at this particular moment, she wanted to change, she wanted to be different. She knew most faes and brutes feerd her, she would be scared if she saw a fae larger than herself. Alue seemed to shake her dome as she thought about that for a few seconds.
The truth was, Alue never learned anything from her prevois packs, and Alue has been in only two packs that she thought would be good to be in. Alue never did much with the members though, since all they cared about was getting to be next to the alpha's side. Which Alue never cared about. She found it funny when her last mate, Souless took up the rank as alpha and made her alphess. It made her happy and she did her job perfectly. Alue's parents weren't alphas and to her, does blood even matter? You can't prove blood. You have to prove yourself. That was what she beleived, so she never cared what blood any other wolf was as long as they were good at what they claim they are good at. When the fae asked the question Alue looked back at her, auds pricked as she listend. "I usually warn before I attack anyone...But, is is mostly when others decide to take controle over me, or start to smart mouth at me." Alue spoke what she usually attacked at, and she usually does warn before attacking, unless that voice starts to eckoe in her head...She hated the face that she was the only one who seemed to hear it.
She studied the fae's facial expression when she told her short past tale, though the sadest part was that that was nothing compared to the most recent of her past. She took a breath as the thoughts and pictures cameto her head. she quickly wanted to avoid that thought and blocked them out of her head. Shuting them behind a door and locking the key.
When the fae spoke again Alue's eyes met hers once more. "I am happy that, that didn't happen to you. It is a pleasure meeting you, and I don't say that to many faes." She spoke the truth once again, she never really had a liking to most faes she was only friends with two faes. Princess and Rayn. Though the fae inftont of her seemed to be joining that list pretty soon. Alue ignored the compliment, not knowing exactly how to respond to it. "If you would like me too tell you more, I will be delighted too, I usually don't like talking about it...But, it makes me feel better that someon else knows..."

----- ooc; sorry about the shortness. D: [... Tulari settled herself on the ground, she could sense that something wasn't all right with Alue. Something haunted the fae -- though what that could possibly be, Tu had no idea. Laying down, Tulari felt even smaller compared to the fea, but she wasn't scared. Wary yes, but no longer was she ready to bolt. She watched Alue with her golden eyes, wanting to help the she-wolf in any manner possible. Her ads perked as Alue commented about her usual attack style, Tulari inclined her head, "Well, I've been accused of being a smart mouth, but -- you're about twice my size, what sort of control could I ever have over you if you didn't want it?" Tulari asked curiously and matter-of-factly. She rested her head on her paws as Alue studied her. Tulari studied the fae in turn, there was something about Alue that raised the hairs on her nape.
But it wasn't Alue herself, this was more like the feeling when she had been to the World's Tree so many years ago. Tulari watched her and then lolled her tongue as Alue said how pleased she was to meet her, "And the same to you, Alue." Tulari chuckled, "That rhymed." Tulari's tail started to wag on the ground, and her legs started to twitch mercilessly -- it was difficult for the black and brown wolf to stay put in a still position for a period of time, at least, before her run. She lifted up her head and stared at Alue calmly, "How good are you at talking while running? I find that it's a soothing experience -- and it does two things at once!" Tulari told her and came to her feet calmly.
She walked a few strides beyond Alue and indicated to follow her, at least at a walk for now. "Alue, you can tell me whatever you feel like telling me. We can walk in silence, but I'll lend a silent ear if you'd like to speak." Tulari's vocals were soft, but carried easily enough over the sound of the wind. She smiled, her tail held aloft by habit. And she waited to see what Alue would decide. ...] -----

OOC- I hope you don't mind me changing the font and color...If you do I will change it back. IC- She studied the fae in front of her, making sure she wasn’t going to lie to her or anything, even though that sounded stupid in many ways, Alue just wasn’t in the mood of being lied to, even if she was being lied to by the alphess. No matter. When she spoke Alue raised her dome and nodded towards her. “Ah, yes, I can see that. But, I also can tell that you don’t over due it. I am pretty sure, you wouldn’t get on my nerves about that So no worries.” She smirked at her, it would have been a smile, if she knew how to smile again. A smile to her was alien. “And for the control thing, I really don’t know…You are alphess. So that gives you control, I don’t mind orders at all, I always fallow them, but I hate it when wolves start using their power in a wrong way, and that Is when I get angry.” She rolled her should in another shrug. “Something else I don’t see you doing.”
When the fae spoke again Alue dipped her dome when she said same for her. Alue also chuckled when she said it rhymed, which it did, though Alue wouldn’t be that open minded to know when something rhymed or not. She shook her dome as she thought about it. When the she asked if she could talk and run Alue shook her dome, but this time in response. “No, I can’t. But, I can walk and talk.” Alue said with a faint grin, it didn’t even look like a grin, but it disappeared in the matter of seconds.
When she saw her raise from her sitting position, Alue did the same, she didn’t mind walking so she got up and fallowed the fae in front of her. Her own tail raised faintly, also in habit, but it swayed calmly behind her. Alue’s steps were graceful as she walked even though she never thought herself as graceful, her pads were silent when they landed and picked off the ground. Alue thought for a few minutes thinking about what to do, she wanted to talk about something. and it felt good talking to someone about part of her past, she then wondered what it would feel like if she told her about her present pain, she also knew she had to tell her about the voices in her head…
Alue then nodded making her decision. “Ok, if you don’t mind me sharing my present…I don’t exactly know if you want to hear it. So I ask you if you want to hear it or not.” Her lyrics were soft as she studied the fae. Her eyes once again rested on her’s. It wasn’t meant as a threat or a challenge. And it wasn’t from her pack, she learned it herself, she learned that if she looked a wolf in the eye she knows when they lie to her or not. She knew that to most wolves it was a challenge, but she didn’t care. If she picked up a few fights here and there, she never cared.

-Hehe, Alue, Saba didn't run away with the pup. Kimbo's Mate, Karmica, stole the pup away and brainwashed him, turning him evil, and now he leads the empire. Ah, I love Karmica. She was a fun character to play
