But one things has remained unchanging in our long forgotten history, a motive lies behind every truth, lurks behind every lie. They give to us not out of pity or out of love, not out of goodness or charity; it is all to serve their own ideals. Bestowing gifts is a manner of currying favor, just as tormenting followers invokes support out of fear. Their motives are not so hard to discern from ours, their psyche is not an intricate paradigm.
Don't ask why, because the pain isn't worth the answers.
At least, that's what everyone is told. You're supposed to keep your head down or you might just lose it. This warped continent where we live can be your Eden or it can be your end. It's your choice. The God worshiping packs are neither friendly nor hostile. They are not evil nor can they really be called good in nature. They are simply wolves, some more than others. Following the guides left by the three Champions of the Vale they live only to serve themselves and ensure their lives. That is not to say that they have no hearts, its more that they have learned to ignore them. Because having a heart in this world, can get you hurt. So we've learned not to ask questions, and sometimes it's better that way.
