Pack meeting time! Here's the deal:
There will be no posting order. If you have multiple Njal wolves, you may post them both at the same time, however, please divide them up. Post the name of your wolf at the beginning of each post, as well as who they are interacting with. Also, post who they are waiting for at the end, if applicable. Trust me, it makes things go more smoothly.
Try to stay active in this thread, otherwise you'll be skipped. Let's do this!
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Valkyri, Njal alphess, to: all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Valyri walked with resolution, eyes set forward and body filled with purpose. The alphess had been out, traveling the borders and edges of the Njal lands. She returned home now, to the Standing stones. They rose up before her on the next rise, strange shapes silhouetted against the twilight sky. To an outsider, it would have been an eerie sight - there was something almost unnatural about the way they came from the ground at strange, unexpected angles, leaning precariously as they sought towards the sky. To the Njal wolf, though, they were home. The quiet mystery of the standing stones was with every wolf born here, and the sight of them called to her.
Val closed her eyes for a moment as she came across the dip in the land, toward the den site. The grass here was filled with the scents of many. Opening her eyes, she took a breath as she passed amongst them, gladdened. There had been a time when war had threatened to eradicate Njal entirely. After that, when the pact had been formed, the pack had dwindled again. Now, under her care, it had grown and was thriving once again. There was a certain pride she felt in that, certainly. But more than ever, she realized how much responsibility she had, how much duty she had to herself and this pack. Njal had risen again, and together, they would become great. Something dark stirred on the horizon, like a bad dream fleeing the waking mind. Njal had risen, yes, but she feared they might not yet be strong enough to weather the coming storm.
As the albino she wolf made it to the dens, she looked around. No one was in sight, but that hardly meant no one was near. It was evening; the sun had fallen from the sky and the moon had yet to rise. The first stars were blinking in the grey-blue sky, but golden light still tinged the horizon. Those who had spent their days out hunting or patrolling, like she, ought to be returning now. Others might be inside the dens, or in the surrounding lands. She gathered her body beneath her and leapt onto the stone that stood slanted above her den, then jumped again to the next highest. She continued her ascent, deftly, until she stood atop the wide slab that stood watch over all the others. Her back to the packlands, she could see the entire scape of stones now, the dens amongst them like shadows. She filled her lungs and tipped her head back, letting a call fly out to the first stars.
It was time for a gathering of the Njal pack. Their existence had been quiet until now - Eyrie kept their part of the bargain, and peace reigned. Those who got used to peace, though, were the first to die in times of war, and the alphess could sense something coming. Njal was a pack of warriors - their very name meant strength - and Valkyri herself was a warrior. They would not be caught unawares. When whatever was coming finally happened, when the building storm finally broke, it would find Njal ready and waiting to face it with their teeth and claws.

Ooc; I apologize in advance if this is not up to scratch.
Amongst the dosing bodies of the Njal hunters, Hades lay. His body was happily soaking up the last rays of sun, lulling in the warmth that came with it. He was safe in this particular spot, amongst the females and their lithe bodies. He could not be bullied by the stronger males and their sick sense of humor. No, if anyone came, meaning Hades harm, the girls would protect him. He was their friend and, above all else, another hunter.
The strong call of the Njal leader brought him out of his reverie, pulling him to his feet like a puppeteer tugging at the strings of a puppet. He made his way to the innermost area of the standing stones, still asleep on his feet.
As the soft shadows enveloped him, his eyes slowly blinked open and took in the splendor of the albino wolf before him. She was gorgeous, though her eyes and nose often creeped him out. Had he been in the Eyrie clan - or even a loner - he would shudder at the genetic tweak that made her look this way. However, he was a Njal wolf and the pink and white of her body only brought him the strangest feeling of respect and awe.
"Good evening, miss," he called up to her, struggling in his daze to show a strong sign of submission. His saggy body was anything but formal, but with some effort, he managed a weak flicker of the whites of his eyes.

ooc ; Kilt [njal spy] is talking to: the alphess , pardon the shortness. DX
He had been standing on the border of the Eyrie pack, lost in thought when his russet ear had flicked back towards the pack dens. He heard her call of summoning and flicked his ears across the border of their land curiously. There had been a scent that plagued him for days as he stood there. But he obeyed his Alphess and turned back towards the camp.
His long legs and plain pelt colour made him travel fast and blend in with the gound. It didn't take him long to cross into the rocky terrain that was their densite. His ears perked as he spotted Hades and then up to his oddly coloured alphess. He thought with a tinge of sarcasm that their pack leader was white, and the Eyrie pack leader was a black female. It baffled him right to the core.
He trotted up about twenty meters from his Alphess and called to her, "Lady Valkyri." he sat down on his haunches as he looked at the female. There was a strong power in her, it made her fur glow whiter and her red eyes and nose gleam. He had no question about his devotion to this alphess.
Ever since his own Pack had turned him out for an accident that had nearly claimed his sister's life, he had been looking for a leader. His brown-ish golden eyes watched her calmly, he made little sound save for the wind rustling his fur. He gaze flickered to others as he saw them approach,

Ooc; This may suck, because I just woke up and I have trouble sleeping, so yeah. Mum thought I might like to win some Katy Perry tickets, but I missed out completely. D: All that moving for nothing.
Marca stepped daintily from her den and into the presence of the alphess. A group of puppies followed her, all looking glum and tired. A slight murmur of complaint sounded from their tiny mouths, soon hushed by a sharp glance from their mother. Marca had worked them to the bone, having them lick her coat into a fluffy storm, scrub her toe pads and check for any unwanted parasites.
"Ma, can we go?" One of the pups asked quietly, tensing his body in case of an attack. "We've worked all day."
Marca's head turned slowly. Her gold-brown eyes, usually sparkling and beautiful, appeared hard and cold, like topaz. "You dear leave in the presence of the alphess?" She asked, her voice high-pitched. She was referring vaguely to herself with the term 'the alphess', but none need no that.
"We've worked all day and our paws hurt. We want to play with our friends." The pup began backing away. Two of it's siblings had already escaped and two (excluding he) remained.
With a huff of anger, Marca turned her back on her children and stepped further into the area before the alphess. The pups scampered away, their tails dragging low.
Marca positioned herself slightly to the left of the stone that Valkyri sat on, her chest pushed out and her head tilting at an odd angle so that her eyes caught the light. In her mind, moves like this drove the males mad, whereas in actual fact, it just made her look uncomfortable and strange.

~~~~~~~~~~~~ Gabriel, Njal Beta to: Alphess ~~~~~~~~~~~~
The mighty hunter was stalking his prey. A deer with a crooked leg and one too many spokes of its antlers was on it's right head while the other only had one. His prey was retarded and left to fend for itself. The herd would not accept such imperfections. Gabriel's gut would. His teeth bared silently and the massive he wolf crouch without a sound. He was almost upon his beast. Closer and closer he could almost taste the delicious meat. His mouth watered with the thought. Every muscle in his body tensed and then . . . .
The howl of his Alphess thundered across her territory and retarded as the deer was, it had enough sense to flee from its natural enemy. With a frustrated snarl Gabriel heaved his mass of muscle and bone out of the bush he was hiding in. Of course the deer would be long gone before he could catch up. Gabriel would never be the fastest wolf of the pack but what he lacked in speed he made up for it in brawn. Still frustrated as he was, he needed to go to the pack meeting. He was beta he would be there.
Taking his breath till the air filled his chest, he pushed out his thunderous howl. Returning his alphess's call. She would be expecting her beta. He was not far from the dens. It would not take him long to get there. With a casual lope of a wolf at home he took easy steps towards the meeting. There was always something important to be taken care of and he was needed. Gabriel would always be there to help his pack. He tried to be loyal, though sometimes, if he was not mistaken about the scent he caught yesterday, he would leave to where he was needed most. Still for now he was happy where he was. Given a duty and trusted by the alphess of Njal.
The stones stood as powerful as ever. He felt his heart thunder with a pleasant anxiety. Here he stood above all others beside his Alphess. He passed a few of the wolves. hunters and a spy to his knowledge. Though most of the male wolves knew Marca she was the casual fling of the pack. He moved through out the wolves ignoring them completely. They would have their turn to speak soon. He padded up to the right of Valkyri and gathered his muscles to pull his whole body up. He sat below Valkyri and to the right of her, the beta male's place in the pack. He was the right paw of the Alphess and he relished his position.
"Greetings Valkyri," he stated with a small happy wag of his tail. This gathering was to find out what needed to be done to help the pack. This would be a happy meeting and he hoped to keep the spirits of the wolves around him light and friendly. Though he would not speak until he was needed to give an opinion. He gazed across the clearing with a blank stare. Though if a wolf looked closely enough they could see that he was relaxed and just waiting for this meeting to begin.
~~~~~~~~~~~~ Waiting: for the meeting to begin. ~~~~~~~~~~~~
