Part of the puzzle...
Reflections
Breed;; Grey Wolf(There's a great reference guide here.)
Appearance;; They say a picture is worth a thousand words, then what does that make a living creature worth?
Well Rayn is rather small for her breed, never had she been one to be all to big compared to the others. At first glance one doesn't even consider her as being a Grey Wolf because she is so delicate and small looking, only standing at two feet nine inches tall does this small fae. Though still she is quite a looker, and only by her colors is one able to tell of what origin breed she hails from.
Her pelage is silky to touch and flows over her sleek form like liquid silk often times. It is a dark smoke grey color when one looks at it from a distance, that would be all that they saw, or more like the colors of a small boulder with dark paint splatters over the tip of it. 'pon her face the small creature wears white mask on the bottom half going down to her chest and then ending it what seems to be small spikes of fur.
She has striking blue eyes that are very rare for a wolf. Whenever one sees them they usually feign away from her because they fear the electric blue gaze that cuts towards them. Her eyes can usually be like glaciers when you look at them, and they just snap and flare for no reason, though a predatory light could often be found in them too but not to often when around company of which she enjoys.
(sorry it is so terribly short. I shall add more later though.)
Picture;;
Instead though she has striking electric blue eyes.
Wear your heart on your sleeve...
Personality;; Rayn can usually be considered the quiet one of the group. Never can she be found talking up a storm or chatting your ear off; instead she is one of very little words but when she does speak it is usually full of wisdom and untold topics that always are quite mysterious. She doesn't like to bug people and often times enjoys being independent, figuring things out for herself, or just pondering over the situation that is bothering her until a suitable solution comes to her. When or if one even does come upon the femme she would quietly assess it and see what the weak spots are and what the strong points are, how the pack could gain, or how it could help.
Optimism is another trait that comes with this perky little fae. When times get tough she's always right there to cheer you up, encouraging you even when you believe that all hope is lost. This mostly comes from her childhood and being orphaned by her mother and father as well as them only leaving her, the runt, and taking her two brothers and three sisters. The fae only had herself to reside on and keep going, so instead of be so negative she hid under the shelter of optimism to keep her going and survive.
No one though she would survive and she set out to prove them wrong, quietly keeping to the background until needed or there to give helpful hints or useful advice. Rayn learns quickly and is eager to learn, and also has a knact for being in charge, though not often does that side come out to be known by others.
Nonetheless she is capable of being quite a flirt and charmer, though does not go against her alphess and will not mate without permission from those in charge.
She has given up her own happiness for the sake of others before and would willingly do so again if it would help others. When someone has this female as a friend though, they have a lifelong companion and ally, she is loyal and trustworthy, quiet and happy and never brings with her negative engergy, even in the midst of bleak times.
Traits;; Optimistic, quiet, wise, knowledgable, fun, caring, though she can be quite crude and mean if need be.
Strengths;; Strategies, loyalties, taking care of others, putting others before herself, fighting, being stubborn at times (haha).
Weaknesses;; Often times she can be too quiet and won't speak up when she has a good idea, can easily isolate herself from others, will not argue too often with the alpha or alphess even when it's for the better.
Fears;; Losing her pack, hurting those she loves, being a disappointment to her pack, losing those she most cares about or loves, her father.
History;; Rayn was born from a cruel brute and an angelic female who cared for too many and often forgot about others. She was the runt in a litter of six, with two brothers, three sisters, and herself; her father cared not what happened to his pups but found anger often because Rayn was so small, so she was abused by her father while her mother watched and silently cried for their smallest child.
She was often found fighting with her litter-mates though and rough housing to get stronger, though the strength in the little girl was not recognized as such and percieved as weakness from her father. Her whole family were rogues and so they moved around a lot, after her litter was born though they moved when Rayn and her siblings were only about two and a half months old. They left Rayn behind though, thinking of her as a weakness, a flaw, and that she was too small to be any use, so if they left her she would just die and no one would have to put up with such an 'insolent' little child.
Though she didn't die like they had expected for the runt to do, instead she raised herself, often fighting against tough situations and leading herself to other rogues who though of her as an omen because of her odd colored eyes. Because so many ignored the fae she grew distant from the 'real world' but always encouraged herself, she could be saying out loud sometimes things such as "I'll make it, you can make it." "Just a little farther and you'll find a family who'll accept you." "Up ahead, that's the place," "forget the past, look to the brighter future, there's one for you too."
Though one day she stumbled upon the Njal pack and was accepted, she was unsure within it at first, unused to being in a family again. Though immediately she had been welcomed as one of them, treated like one of their own.
There she grew...

Roleplay Example;; (This is from one of my other posts that i've made before. It's for a horse, though I can do one just as well for a wolf too.)
æAnatheaæ
æPastæ
Quietly she was there, her small form laying on the ground as not a sound echoed from her small mouth. No she was a newborn to a great and fantastical mare who was kll known in places. She was born into the world, but a terrible fate lay before her.
Called a monster by her family, by her whole herd because wolves seemed to be attached to her, surrounding the horses and eagerly watching the little female place her first breaths in this world.
You see, long ago there was a legend, a myth, once even known as a myth and hope to them that one day they would be at peace, that there would be a child birthed of one of them that would bring the wolves so they did not attack them anymore. So that there would be peace among the horses and wolves of the pack and herd.
And at long last, there was, a little filly that was not treasured by her own peoples but hated, feared, scorned. Yet loved so much by the wolves of whom could communicate with her. Two though were special for they could hear her thoughts. Pups they may be, but powerful as she.
Quietly the filly stood gazing about with wide eyes, her mother spoke then. Hearing her mothers voice she was scared at first. “Daughter you are going with the wolves, they are your family now. No longer are you welcome here and no longer shall you come. Flee or we shall leave you.” The Hessian hissed at her own daughter pushing her towards the alphas in the group.
Whimpering softly she looked at her family scared, the two wolf pups came to her side and barked up at her making her giggle and walk alongside them. “puppies,” she whispered smiling down at them.
æYearlingæ
Running through the woods she was, two wolves beside her so stoically and beautiful as she raced over and under the bushes, trees, and other dense vegetation. A melodious laugh rang from her small bodice as she looked at her companions trotting along beside her.
Above an eagle cried out and came hurtling toward the small female wolf. Hissing the Hessian stood in the way and the mighty bird pulled up, landing on her back with an unhappy screech coming from its beak.
Growling at it right back she glared for a minute before nuzzling her other two companions.
“Well, if all you are to do here is growl then shoo bird.” Whispered Anathea in her musical voice. The bird returned a screech and Thea snorted softly.
“Fine stay then, but you must behave as they do,” she whispered to it. Only the response she got was it fluffing out its feathers before grooming its feathers back into place again. Laughing again she shook her head, her mane flying every direction, before taking off again.
“Chincharii, Fimmarolen come on slow pokes!” With that she giggled and flew by again before smirking and skidding to a stop to graze near a small stream. Laughing she looked back at Chincharii who was panting before she perked up and started running around her feet.
“Thea, Fimmarolen and I are gonna go hunting. We are hungry and wish to eat,” whispering that in her mind she nipped Fimmarolen and they took off through the woods.
“Be back soon you two!” She yelled and looked back to see the eagle still faintly perched upon her back. “You on the other hand, I shall call you-“ She was cut off listening to it too.
Squawking she was able to depict it’s name.
“Hotaru then, you are Hotaru.” She got another squeak from the bird who took off to catch a mouth. Sighing she began to raise again before swimming into the water and squealing as a cold blast ran over her.
Softly her eyes went up at the cracking of a branch and she saw the other wolves come about. Smiling she greeted them warmly but they watched her with grave eyes.
“Anathea, you Fimmarolen and Chincharii obviously have a connection that is unbreakable. And a horse is no longer aloud in the pack, so you all must leave.” Came the alpha male’s voice. It floated to her auds and she looked at them with a hurt gaze but nodded not even daring to speak in fear that she would cry.
The next morning they left out on their own with Hotaru flying above and gazing about just in case trouble was running amuck.
æPresent Dayæ
Coming to a stop she waited for her companions to catch up with her. Long since had they left their pack, her herd, and were now the only family that they had.
“Hotaru is it clear?” She called up to her male eagle friend who was patrolling the skies above to be certain that his friend would not be harmed by any other.
Hearing his reply that there were others she smiled eagerly looking forward and running quickly as Chincharii and Fimmarolen went beside her smelling other wolves, and instantly on the alert.
“Calm you two, I am sure that they are friends, not fo so quiet down or I fear that you shall scare them away.” She hissed though smiled at each fondly. They barked at her and laughed as she shook her head and sped up.
Skidding to a stop in the shadows she watched as the male stallion conversed with the other female there. Snorting softly she watched with wide eyes, it was good to see another again, she missed the company of other horses but had long since left it for her friends in fear of being hurt again.
But here, before her very eyes, were others just like her that had companions that not many other equines dare even near.
Almost completely silent she stepped forward only to be blocked by Fimmarolen and have him growl at the others as well as Chincharii.
“Hush you two!” She growled at them before dipping her head to the others there.
Hotaru landed on her back, squawking his disapproval as she spoke but she didn’t get any farther as Chincharii jumped onto her. Bucking lightly she got her off and glared keeping her mouth shut though......
